In 2010, Kristen and her family moved from Magnolia, Texas, to Caldwell, Texas, to be closer to family and a restaurant they owned. She loves serving her community and has held several leadership roles, including former trustee of the Caldwell Independent School District Board, former chair on the Burleson County Child Protection Board, and a previous Adopt-a-Highway volunteer. Additionally, she assisted in establishing the Boys and Girls Club for Burleson County and served as a former director on the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, she initiated the annual "Elves Filling Shelves" event during the holidays, which has provided food for over hundreds of children by partnering with nonprofits dedicated to supporting the underserved. She is currently an active board member with the Burleson Health Resource Partnership.
Kristen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and is currently attending Texas A&M School of Law to obtain her Master's in Legal Studies with an emphasis in Energy Oil-Gas Law. She also graduated from the Ranch Management University at Texas A&M. She wanted to follow in her grandparents' footsteps who were also licensed Realtors and become a Realtor. She was surrounded by family who enjoyed real estate including her uncles who were in construction. This lead her to own rental and investment properties. In 2012, she completed her first major renovation project and has since rehabilitated dozens of homes throughout Burleson County. With Kristen's construction and education background she brings years of land/ranch expertise, strong communication and negotiation skills to her day to day experience with her.
She is a licensed Texas Realtor Instructor, Accredited Staging Professional and a HAR Social Media Pro, consistently ranked as a top Broker. She has maintained her status as a top agent with the Bryan College Station MLS and Houston Association of Realtors for Burleson and Brazos County. After working at both a small boutique brokerage and a large franchise brokerage, Kristen felt limited in her potential. Seeking to expand her capabilities and redefine what clients deserve, she founded ORO Realty in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her vision allowed her to create a team of agents who share her commitment to excellence for their clients and peers, setting a new standard in the ever-evolving world of real estate. Kristen introduced services that many overlooked, offering clients comprehensive concierge support that includes cleaning, staging, renovations, cleanouts, moving assistance, estate sales, finding heirs, and resolving title issues. While others viewed these offerings as excessive, she built her business on the principles of patience and perseverance. Every property and client is treated with the ORO Gold Standard in her eyes. In 2024, she opened her second office in College Station.
